Our family run campsite is located in the heart of the Berwyn Mountains, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nestled down a county lane on a small holding.
It is situated in a very unique setting, in a gorge at the end of a valley within the grounds of a former water mill surrounded by woodland.
This beautiful peaceful setting attracts various woodland birds and wildlife. It is well sheltered by the height of the surrounding valley and has its very own woodland bluebell river walk, which leads to the view of the lovely waterfall that can be gently heard all over the site and gives a truly relaxing feel
Felin Uchaf is a small, friendly, adults only site and has had people returning for nearly 20 years. We are situated within a dark skies area, so stargazing is a must and often the Northern Lights have been seen over the campsite and surrounding area.
Directly from site we are spoilt for great scenic walks and bike rides including the Berwyn Mountains, the River Dee (Excellent for fishing)! Cynwyd forest and the local reservoir which dogs love a swim in!
The local shop and village pub offers a great range of food and ales is just a five-minute walk away. We are also just a five-minute drive away to the historic town of Corwen with a great selection of local shops, cafes, take-aways and a leisure centre. The organic farm shop at The Rhug Estate, also offers a lovely place to shop local produce and there is a good café with excellent coffee and homemade cakes.
